the oast

Tasked with bringing unity and flourish to The Oast, located on the outskirts of Matfield, we introduced plush, natural embroidered textiles to complement the period features.

With careful planning we brought two sides of the oast house together, ensuring the clients love of pattern and texture was explored we searched for fabrics in earthy tones with fabrics from favourite UK textile designers. This brought tactile elements through soft furnishings that are practical and opulent.

Framing the views of the rolling countryside by day and creating a deluxe, cosy back drop by night was key in the drawing room. We installed elegant sheer panels to give the option of diffusing the light and created full length curtains. Choosing a bold contrasting border gives the warm neutral curtains expression.

An infusion of embroidery and contrasting texture from Osborne & Little unifies the cushions and roman blinds with the room.

Willow & Bert have made several sets of curtains and blinds for our home. The quality and attention to detail has been exceptional every time. If I have needed fabric inspiration she has guided me in the right direction. I cannot recommend Chloe and her team highly enough if you are looking for impeccably made soft-furnishings.
